Marceli Motty used to live in the historical tenement house, where the Kolegiacki Hotel is located today. Other prominent residents of Poznań, including Karol Marcinkowski and Hipolit Cegielski, also used to visit this place. In the Kolegiacki Hotel**** there is a restaurant called Patio Prowansja, which owes its name to a beautiful patio filled with greenery. The restaurant also has beautiful medieval cellars, which used to serve as a merchant's wine store. In accordance with these traditions, today you can enjoy the taste of exceptional wines and dishes of Polish cuisine, in particular those inspired by the culinary traditions of the Wielkopolska Region.
We offer our guests a carefully composed menu, containing dishes prepared from the highest quality meat, fresh fish, and seafood. The dishes served in our restaurant at Kolegiacki Square are prepared exclusively from the best products and in accordance with traditional recipes. The rich culinary history of the Wielkopolska Region is our inspiration, which undoubtedly has a significant influence on the uniqueness of our menu. Friendly and professional staff of our restaurant will satisfy even the most demanding guests. Therefore, if you are looking for a good restaurant with Polish cuisine and elements of Mediterranean cuisine in the heart of Poznań, you could not have found a better place.
The restaurant consists of two halls, which can accommodate about 60 persons in total. From the windows of the first one – designed in the Biedermeier style from the first half of the 19th century, i.e. from the times of the building's construction – you can admire a beautiful view of Kolegiacki Square with the complex of historic buildings of the former Jesuit College. The second hall is located in a cosy roofed patio. Custom-made furniture, lush greenery, and carefully selected furnishings including works of art will introduce you to the unique Mediterranean climate. Unmistakable interiors of our Mediterranean restaurant situated at Kolegiacki Square will encourage you to plan extraordinary trips or recollect your stays in the countries surrounding the Mediterranean Sea.
Our restaurant also has a charming historical cellar, which can be rented for special events for more guests, such as weddings, anniversaries, first communion receptions or christening receptions. Original brick vaults, brilliant candles and atmospheric music will take you back in time and provide a truly unforgettable experience.
We can also offer an additional attraction in the form of a terrace on the roof of the tenement house, in which the restaurant and the hotel are located. From the terrace you have a wonderful view of the most important monuments of the Old Town – including a parish church and a renaissance city hall. Every day at noon, you can watch the traditional head-butting billy goats on the city hall tower from our terrace. Due to the convenient location of our restaurant, you will be able to visit the Old Town of Poznań at any time.
Our restaurant is located in the Kolegiacki Hotel – an unusual hotel with rich history, located at Kolegiacki Square. The hotel has 24 rooms which provide the highest standard of accommodation. If you want to not only eat well, but also relax comfortably in favourable conditions, we invite you to get acquainted with the offer of the hotel.
